Configuration Analyst

Oversee configuration management for MFSS product lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Maintain accurate configuration baselines and technical documentation.

Babcock is looking for a Configuration Analyst to join the team based inDevonport, Auckland.
About the role
Join our team as a Configuration Analyst where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the consistency, reliability, and compliance of our MFSS program. This position empowers you to lead the way in establishing configuration management processes that uphold our technical and operational standards. Working closely with our Configuration Manager, you'll engage in end-to-end configuration activities, from planning to verification, to support our mission.

You are a technically skilled professional with a deep understanding of configuration and data management. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and experience with tools like PLM or SharePoint allows you to identify process improvements effectively. Key Required Skills

Configuration and data management proficiency
Knowledge of configuration management tools (PLM, Projectwise, etc.)
Ability to develop and implement process improvements
Technical documentation expertise
Proficiency in managing product baselines and configurations
Communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
Knowledge of compliance and audit processes
Problem-solving and decision-making in technical environments

Key Required Qualifications

Technical vocational qualification/certificate in a Configuration Management (CM) discipline
Eligibility for membership in a relevant technical body
Approximately four years of experience in technical/engineering roles
