As part of the People and Culture team, you will work in a small but dynamic team providing support, guidance and HR business partnership to our leaders.You will have access to various Centres of Excellence to drive and deliver great people outcomes and solutions for your stakeholder groups.You will be the face of the People team to your customers, providing strategic guidance in ER/IR, talent management, diversity and inclusion initiatives and strategic workforce planning.What's Involved.Partner our leaders on everything people related to achieve their business strategyBuild leadership competency and capability through coachingExecute Strategic talent managementLead cyclical employee life cycle activitiesCoach, guide and manage employee relations issues in your areaChampion our diversity and inclusion strategy and culturePlan and lead negotiations, both individual and collective agreements, demonstrating solid knowledge and skills in the collective bargaining process and its legislative requirements, as well as a strong understanding of the impact of Industrial Relations issues.Provide guidance and ensure compliance with relevant legislative, policy and process requirementsWho We're Looking For.You will have a background in HR, with strong expertise in employee relations, with a thorough understanding of New Zealand employment laws and legislation.
You'll have strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and empower leaders across the business, effectively manage employee performance and mitigate risk.You'll also have a high level of emotional intelligence and resilience; being able to operate effectively in a fast-paced and litigious environment, with the overall aim of promoting a positive workplace culture.You'll NeedTertiary qualification in Law, HR, Business, Commerce, Industrial Relations, or a related disciplineProven experience working in a HR business partner or equivalent role, ideally within a multi-site organisationSound knowledge of employee relations legislationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA track record of taking initiative and achieving pragmatic outcomesA current Drivers Licence requiredYou'll be part of a workplace where you'll feel like you belong.Bunnings strives to ensure everyone is treated fairly and our team are committed to supporting you at any stage of your recruitment journey.
