About Us:

SkyCity Entertainment Group is New Zealand's largest tourism, leisure and entertainment company. We operate entertainment complexes in New Zealand and in South Australia and an opportunity has arisen in one of New Zealand's most majestic locations, Queenstown.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for leading our Queenstown operation which includes a small casino, bar and restaurant, ensuring a safe and vibrant destination for our customers and team. Identifying and driving opportunities to maximise revenue is key, as is ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences and a culture of care. You'll contribute to key Group initiatives and improvements and be accountable for adhering to approved policies and procedures, mitigating risk for our business.

About You:

You may be ready for that next step in your career and this could be the stepping-stone in your journey towards other opportunities within SkyCity Entertainment Group, giving you the opportunity to lead our Queenstown operation and team of approximately 50 staff. Your leadership style inspires and empowers people and you'll be passionate about continuous improvement and growing an inclusive culture. You'll add real value through your ability to forge strong relationships within the Community, leveraging networks to ensure long-term partnerships are created whilst having the agility to manoeuvre through complex operational challenges. You'll have a sound understanding of market principles and a willingness to blend your strategic insights with implementing tactical plans.
