Area Manager - Wellington About the role As a Retail Area Manager, you are a true ambassador for Latitude and our Brand. Our Area Managers enhance and grow relationships within a set portfolio of key retailers. Whilst this is a pure relationship building role, it is anticipated that you identify new business opportunities and have well-planned robust conversations about why partners should be offering their customers the most affordable way to pay and how we can partner with them to help grow their business Your territory will cover Wellington and Manawatu/Wanganui areas. Must be comfortable on the road as there will be travel required to regional areas. About this role, you'll: Build and strengthen relationships with store managers and their teams, understand their business impact, growth, and customer experience. Deliver a structured training framework to promote retail finance and positively impact growth whilst ensuring the business is compliant in its practices. Commit to business goals/targets, driving results through collaboration and problem solving with the retail sales team. Understand how your retailers operate, appreciate their goal and purpose and continue to enhance their sales performance. Provide on-call servicing to retail partners during store operational hours. Ideally, we're looking for someone: You've already fine-tuned your relationship-building skills from previous sales focused roles, where you successfully managed multi-level relationships, both internally and externally. You flourish in an autonomous environment and have a hunger for continuous improvement. Being in a fast-paced work environment, you need to come ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in You're a real people person and build long-term relationships through a friendly, honest, and pragmatic approach. Equipped with an understanding of sales finance, and a willingness to learn Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory risks to ensure our retailers are lending responsibly. Innovative, continually looking for new business and product opportunities. This role has a large training and education component; you will feel comfortable delivering to small groups and fielding questions. This is a great next step for an experienced retail store manager to begin a new career in a high-profile account management role. (We require you have a full driver's license). This role is on the road with a car allowance and tools of the trade. Sound like you?
