Change brings opportunity At LPC, we're sharpening our strategic focus and diving into exciting, critical work. We're looking for two experienced Business Partners to join our dynamic team and drive impactful change. Reporting into one of our Senior Business Partners and working alongside our existing business partners, there will be no shortage of support, collaboration, hard work and laughter along the way.
About the role
As a People Business Partner you'll play a pivotal role in aligning our People and Capability strategy with LPC's strategic direction. Your primary objectives will be to foster key stakeholder relationships, challenge the status quo, and provide well-informed advice that builds trust across the business. You'll support the full range of people service delivery whilst driving continuous improvement. The role will provide ample opportunity for you to leverage your existing Union relationship building skills and see you influence key business strategies.
About you
You'll be responsible for partnering with nominated business units to provide generalist HR support, as well as provide guidance on employment relations and all aspects of the employee life cycle. You will support the business in an interest-based manner and assist in the creation and support of new initiatives. You will be joining a fun, tight-knit and high-performing People and Capability team and will bring a great sense of humour along with your knowledge and experience.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a business partner role
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, or relevant experience in similar roles
Proven success in supporting change and driving continuous improvement
Ability to collaborate with leaders, employees, unions and other stakeholders
Sound expertise in HR strategies and New Zealand employment legislation
Ability to use sound People/HR expertise to generate, evaluate and act on strategic options and opportunities
In-depth experience in Employment Relations, in particular investigations
Previous experience working in a unionised environment is highly desirable
The People and Capability team are looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running, with support from the whole team. If you are ready for a change in your HR career and to contribute to our dynamic organisation, we look forward to hearing from you
