**ABOUT US / MŌ MĀTOU**

Ko Taku Reo Deaf Education New Zealand is the national provider of education services to New Zealand’s Deaf and hard of hearing children, working to nurture learning journey and nurturing their social and emotional wellbeing. We assist them to form their own identity, as well as providing support and resources to help them reach their academic potential. You will be joining a nationwide team, motivated to deliver quality HR services, supporting the education and wellbeing our students.

**THE ROLE / TE MAHI**

We are looking for an experienced and results driven HR Systems Business Partner. This is a permanent, fulltime role based in Christchurch and reports to our Head of Human Resources. There may be some flexibility around a hybrid working environment.

As our HR Systems Business Partner, you will be responsible for implementing, managing and enhancing our HR systems and technology infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with the HR team to identify system needs, design solutions and implement effective strategies. Additionally, you will be instrumental in training employees, collaborating with other teams, system usage and providing ongoing support to ensure a smooth user experience.

You will:

- Lead the HRIS implementation
- Document HR process and recommend improvements
- Manage system configurations, updates and troubleshooting to ensure system integrity and reliability
- Proactively monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve user experience and efficiency
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR system related inquiries and issues
- Analyse and interpret employee data to create accurate dashboards and reports for the organisation
- Develop and deliver training programmes to educate employees on HRIS functionalities

**ABOUT YOU / MŌ KOE**
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business IT or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR systems management or related field
- Strong technical proficiency in HRIS's
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders

An affinity or understanding of Deaf culture or NZSL would be beneficial, however, we have systems to assist all staff with communication.
