About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Casual Housekeeper to join our team at Bruce Pulman Lodge. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our Lodge remains clean, comfortable, and welcoming for all guests. From time to time, you may also assist with housekeeping duties at Pulman Arena, ensuring that our event spaces are maintained to the highest standard.
This is a casual position, offering flexibility with hours and the opportunity to work in a vibrant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and facilities at Pulman Lodge to the highest standards.
• Ensure linen is changed, rooms are restocked, and all areas are thoroughly cleaned.
• Assist with event space preparation and cleaning at Pulman Arena when needed.
• Follow cleaning schedules and adhere to safety and hygiene regulations.
• Report maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring guests have a pleasant stay.
Skills & Experience:
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in a hospitality or events environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleaning standards.
• Good time-management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work across both Pulman Lodge and Pulman Arena as required.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in a cleaning environment.
