We have a great opportunity for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our growing team. This role will report to the Housekeeping Manager, but also leading our housekeeping team for weekend shifts on a regular basis.
The role offers: The opportunity to work from a great CBD location next to Spark ArenaHeavily discounted rates on hotel stays for you, your friends and family across New Zealand and AustraliaWellness program provided to all teamThe opportunity to work with a growing brand across New Zealand and AustraliaThe role involves: Overseeing the daily activities of the housekeeping department liaising with Housekeeping Manager, Room Attendants, Front Desk and Maintenance teams. Acting as the Housekeeping Manager in their absence. Ensure all team adhere to policies and procedures relating to cleaning standards, fire, hygiene, health and safety. Complete room audits in line with company policy and maintain records of audit scores. Ensure all VIP reservations and requests are dealt with professionally and to the highest standard. To maintain an acceptable level of stock on hand and to place orders as efficiently as possible. Assist with recruitment when required, lead induction of new team members and training of property/organisational processes. Report any health and safety issues, faults, repairs, thefts, cleaning needs and accidents to the Housekeeping Manager. Provide effective leadership, management, training, motivation and development of all team members. Conduct daily housekeeping briefings with housekeeping team in absence of Housekeeping Manager.
