Kacific is expanding, and we are looking for a Sales Director, Direct Retail Vanuatu & Niue to grow our Vanuatu Operations; this plays a critical role in our growing and fast-moving organisation in Vanuatu, as one of the important markets in Kacific's strategy.

JOB DESCRIPTION About The Role The Sales Director, Direct Retail will functionally report to the Kacific Vice President, Direct Retail, or any other senior manager as assigned by the CCO and he/she will serve as the face of the company, embodying Kacific values and actively engaging with various stakeholders.
This role involves building and maintaining relationships, contributing to the local business strategy, and overseeing end-to-end sales processes and cash collection.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Brand Ambassador Accountable for: Embody Kacific values: Humanity; Autonomy & perseverance; Adaptability & Initiatives; Business as Good; Thirst for Knowledge.
Establish and maintain a visible and active presence on the ground.
Create and defend a bridgehead for Kacific, representing and safeguarding our interests.
Business Growth Preparation: Accountable for: Gather market, operational, and regulatory intelligence.
Research key sales verticals and resellers in each district and design sales campaigns.
Understand cultural, political, and regional factors impacting the sales process.
Demonstrate a proven track record of fostering and expanding a legitimate network among businesses, governmental agencies, industry bodies, and key stakeholders within Vanuatu & Niue.
Leverage existing relationships and establish new connections to facilitate business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations that align with Kacific's objectives and growth strategy.
Demonstrate excellent relationship management skills to create new opportunities with potential clients.
Expand the network locally and manage relationships with key agencies, chambers of commerce, industry bodies, NGOs, clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
Organise, coordinate and participate in regional events and conferences.
Contributor to: Advise management on country-related topics for local business strategy preparation.
Organize, coordinate, and participate in regional events and conferences.
Obtain and maintain necessary technical and business licenses and approvals in support of the legal team.
Accountable for: Generate new sales and increase Kacific's local client base.
Closing and signature of contracts in compliance with corporate legal requirements and approved commercial terms.
Taking responsibility for end-to-end sales process implementation for prospective and existing customers and for existing and new products and services.
Provide support to the distribution channel in remote cities.
Execute and manage sales processes, including pipeline and forecasting using company-approved channels and tools.
Develop sales strategies targeting wholesale and end-user customers and identify upselling and new product cross-selling opportunities within existing customer accounts.
Identify resellers in each province based on product portfolios.
Support to Other Functions: Accountable for: Cash collection process and debt monitoring.
Coordinate the technical support.
Plan and execute 3 marketing campaigns a year and provide full report on results.
Contributor to: Monitor network trends and provide recommendations.
Support special projects and crisis management teams as required.
Whenever relevant, support the HR team by facilitating talent search, being involved in the interview process, and onboarding new team members.
The roll-out of local marketing and promotional campaigns for awareness and sales lead generation designed by the marketing team.
The project roll-out of customer projects by the technical and service delivery team, including supporting the timely acceptance of delivered products by customers.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related studies.
Minimum 5 years of full-cycle sales experience in Vanuatu or any other similar market.
Willingness to travel within the region.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Essential knowledge of MS Office tools.
Advantageous familiarity with CRM systems and task management software like Salesforce and Asana.

Ability to work remotely and autonomously under remote guidance.
