You are an excellent communicator in both verbal and written forms and understand the risk of "tone" in email messages, also the importance of responding in a timely manner.
You are astute at the identification and solution of problems, always thinking 'on your feet' and staying a few steps ahead of clients. As a result, you are able to solve problems spontaneously and immediately, without time for contemplation, and can provide solutions to clients when advising them of issues that arise.
You use a proactive approach and thrive on preventing, negotiating, and resolving conflict. You understand the concept of being 'the meat in the sandwich', that is, negotiating the different needs of the two separate parties (tenants and owners) within a legislative context. You are able to present an objective approach towards resolution, mediating without appearing to take sides. You are able to manage stressful situations without taking it too personally.
And finally, our superman (or superwoman) can recognize and pass on sales opportunities when they arise and either close the deal or pass it on to the appropriate person in the office.
Fundamental Requirements
You must have a clean driver's license and have mastered basic computer skills and are familiar with MS Office products. More importantly, you have an interest in people and in property.
Skills/ Experience
You would have prior experience in customer service or client relationship management. Ideally you would also have experience in property management and property investment and would be familiar with residential tenancy law and basic residential property maintenance needs.
