Job Description Our tourism team give an insight into the world of Weta Workshop, sharing our passion for making cool stuff with visitors form NZ and around the world.We're advertising for a Host - Special Effects Coordinator, a role that will conduct guided tours at our Miramar-based Weta Cave in Wellington. The role will also promote events and workshops, creating prosthetics and maintaining costumes for our tourism venues, as well as procuring special effects and make up. They will also be assisting in our Cave retail store.You can find out more about this role in our job description here. We're looking for someone who has solid communication and customer service skills, and the ability to host engaging tours.You'll also need to have:At least 12 months' experience in the tourism industryExperience creating prosthetics and make up fx in a practical environmentIdeally experience working with prosthetics and make up fx in the film industry or eventsThis is a permanent, full-time role, working 32 hour per week (with varying shift days and times, so you'll need to be available weekends and occasional evenings). If you'd like more info, please reach out to ******** . The wage rate for this role is $29.66 per hour.Applications close 6 September 2024.   Additional Information If we can do anything to accommodate you during the recruitment or interview process, please let us know.
