**Job Description:**

Jones Financial is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Web Chat Representative to join our dynamic team. As a Web Chat Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients by engaging with them through live chat on our website. This is a part-time role that offers flexibility while ensuring that we provide the highest level of support to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Customer Engagement:** Respond to incoming web chat inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- **Issue Resolution:** Assist customers in resolving their inquiries and provide solutions in a timely manner, escalating issues to appropriate departments as necessary.
- **Product Knowledge:** Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our products and services to effectively educate and inform customers.
- **Documentation:** Record customer interactions and feedback accurately in our CRM system, ensuring that all communications are logged and available for future reference.
- **Proactive Outreach:** Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling relevant financial products during customer interactions.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments, providing detailed feedback on customer concerns and contributing to ongoing training and development initiatives.
- **Performance Metrics:** Meet or exceed individual performance metrics and team goals related to customer satisfaction and response times.
- **Continuous Improvement:** Engage in self-improvement activities, seeking feedback to enhance personal performance and contribute to the overall team's success.

**Requirements:**

- **Education:** Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- **Experience:** A minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service, particularly in a web chat or online communication role.
- **Technical Proficiency:** Proficient with live chat software and CRM systems; familiarity with financial products is a plus.
- **Personality Traits:**
- Reliable – consistently show up on time and meet commitments.
- Hardworking – dedicated to providing exceptional service and product knowledge.

**Soft Skills:**
- **Time Management:** Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- **Attention to Detail:** Carefully read and respond to customer inquiries, ensuring accuracy in communication and documentation.
