This is an excellent opportunity to use your existing skill set while learning new systems and processes and gaining valuable industry knowledge.About UsJuice Products New Zealand Limited (JPNZ) is a market-leading vegetable and fruit processing company located in Timaru and owned by Sumitomo Group (one of Japan's major integrated trading and investment business enterprises). JPNZ produces high-quality natural juice concentrates, juices and puree products which are exported to Japan, Taiwan, USA, and Australia. A key strategic focus is on developing and maintaining high-quality vegetable and fruit juices for export markets.The RoleThe role involves operating a range of plant, equipment, and machinery during 12-hour shifts in a modern processing facility. The role is based on the night shift on a 12 hr 4 x 4 roster. Full training and safety equipment will be provided.Responsibilities:Operate production equipment in a safe and efficient mannerMonitor production processes to ensure that they are running smoothlyTroubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during productionPerform routine maintenance on production equipmentEnsure that products meet quality standardsFollow all safety procedures and guidelinesWork collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targetsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processesMinimum Requirements:The successful candidate must be a NZ resident or have an appropriate work visa and will have:The "Right Attitude"The ability to read and follow Safety instructions and S.O.P's, and help create themA willingness to learn new skills and equipment in a hands-on production environmentA team player mentality, prepared to muck in and succeed as a teamExperience in manufacturing processes, and an understanding of quality systemsA questioning mind, asking the right questions to ensure our products stay the bestA good level of physical fitness - not everything is automated, and computer controlledStrong mechanical aptitudeThe ability to communicate at a high level in a noisy environment, both written and verbalA high level of reliability & time managementOwnership of their roleDesired (but not essential) skills/experience also includes:Forklift license and driving experienceFood manufacturing experienceIf this is the opportunity you have been waiting for, DON'T DELAY – apply now telling us why we need you on our production team
