The role: You will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure the smooth and efficient production of our client's internationally recognised products.
Our client operates 24/7, so the role requires a rotating shift pattern, working 2 x 7am - 7pm, then 2 x 7pm - 7am, then having 4 consecutive days off. You will be working as a key member of a small team across the area, so attendance at work is critical to ensure the operation is appropriately resourced. There is some manual handling required on occasion, and you are on your feet for several hours, so a reasonable level of fitness and strength and agility is required.
This role is an ongoing assignment up to 6 months with the chance of permanent employment for the right candidate

To be successful in the role you will need: To hold good health and safety practices in the highest regardTo be available to work weekendsGood computer and data entry skillsStrong mechanical aptitudeGood communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a small teamA 'Can do' attitudeAble to meet the physical requirements of the roleForklift Operation experience is a bonus, but not requiredWhile experience in the food manufacturing industry is advantageous, it's not essential.
