About the Role
Working at our Whangarei site, you will be supporting our Adult and Youth clients to make a positive change in their lives through:

Conducting assessments and delivering interventions from a wider systemic and socio-ecological perspective.
Using your clinical expertise to provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual and group work.
Effectively managing own caseload and administrative requirements.
Initiating and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders to best support the client.
Bringing hope and making a sustainable difference to individuals, families and their communities

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

A robust understanding of the key frameworks and clinical practices in the area of sexual harm.
Experience with assessment and intervention for concerning or harmful sexual behaviours and/or family violence.
Tertiary level therapeutic qualification with NZ registration (or working towards registration).
The ability to form strong, client centred therapeutic alliances with clients and their families/whanau.
Strong clinical report writing skills and an ability to conceptualise and formulate case intervention plans.
A positive and non-judgemental attitude towards our clients.
Skills and experience in working with Maori and/or Pasifika clients and within clinical and cultural frameworks.
