About the role:

Kiwi Can is an energy-packed activity-based primary school programme, aimed at tamariki aged 5-12. Kiwi Can teach values such as integrity and respect, helps build resilience and delivers fun-filled learning within schools.

With a start date of 13 January 2025, this is a rostered role where the hours will change annually based on the needs of the schools that we deliver the programme in. The hours vary each day with start times no earlier than 8am Monday - Friday and finishes no later than 3.45pm.

About you:

We are looking for an engaging person to join our team in Southland. You will be involved in planning and delivering a range of creative and interactive lessons where ākonga can enjoy a positive, uplifting environment that encourages self-belief and confidence. Being looked up to by ākonga, you will role model the Kiwi Can values of integrity and respect and help build resilience in our next generation.

Specific experience is not required, but experience in a similar area will set you apart, full training and ongoing support are provided.

  • Create and maintain positive working relationships with both your team and in schools.
  • You will need to have good working knowledge of MS Office products, particularly Microsoft Word, Outlook and Teams. Experience in Canva would be great to have but not essential.
  • A high level of professional presentation, behavior and common sense is required.
