We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Freight Forwarding SALES ASSISTANT & Operations professional to join our dynamic team.
It is important to us that you have Experience with Rates within the Freight Forwarding industry and that you understand shipping quotations as that will be the main focus of your job.
In this role, you will support the sales team in driving new business while assisting with the operational aspects of freight forwarding. Your organizational skills and customer-focused approach will be essential in ensuring smooth logistics and exceptional service delivery.
At Circuit, we specialize in Liquid Logistics. Our passionate team of ISO Tank enthusiasts is dedicated to transforming the standard of business-class service in the ISO tank market.
Located in Pukekohe, we offer top-notch technical support and dependable equipment to our clients, establishing ourselves as a leader in global bulk liquid and chemical logistics. With nearly two decades of experience, our team excels in managing food-grade, chemical, and hazardous ISO Tank & Flexitank supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the sales team in preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations for existing & potential clients.
Maintain and update the customer database and sales/quotes tracking systems.
Request, negotiate and update shipping line, KiwiRail & trucking rates quarterly or as required
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, & customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing information on services.
Liaise & build strong relationships with shipping lines, suppliers & global tank principals
3. Operations Coordination:
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of shipments.
Assist in booking cargo, coordinating with carriers, and managing documentations
Work closely with sales, operations, and logistics teams to streamline processes and enhance service delivery
