At Summerset, we are passionate about providing quality services and care for our residents. Job Description We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join the team in Wellington or Auckland. This role will be part of the Construction Business Unit, reporting to the Head of Procurement. You'll play an influential role in the procurement activities for our large-scale retirement village developments throughout New Zealand. You'll be managing a category of products, materials and services, and the role will include facilitating the sourcing of new products, implementing alternative and innovative supply solutions, managing supplier relationships and seeking to add value and deliver benefit throughout the supply chain. Qualifications Minimum 3 - 6 years' procurement experience, ideally within an engineering/construction/manufacturing environment, but not essential Relevant Tertiary Qualification Self-motivated with the ability to influence and motivate others High level of confidence, negotiation skills and top-notch relationship skills Ideally a fully qualified member of MCIPS or hold a Post Graduate Qualification in a relevant discipline Additional Information Day to day health insurance cover Have a day off on your Birthday Staff discounts through Summerset suppliers Sick leave is available from day one If this sounds like your kind of role - apply now This role may close early due to an increased number of applications - apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
