Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive cost-effective procurement processes, ensuring quality and timely delivery. This role is pivotal in aligning Layer3's procurement strategies with company growth objectives.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end procurement for hardware, software, and services.Collaborate with internal teams to determine procurement needs and ensure timely acquisition.Maintain and enhance vendor relationships to negotiate favorable contracts and terms.Ensure compliance with software license agreements and manage license renewals.Optimize stock levels, track inventory, and propose cost-saving strategies.Collaborate closely with the Service Delivery Manager and support team for provisioning tasks.Technical Skills:2 years of IT procurement experience.Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint).Familiarity with procurement platforms like ConnectWise is a plus.Proven experience in hardware and software procurement.Ability to analyze market trends and vendor performance.Personal Attributes:Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.Excellent communication and collaboration with internal teams and clients.Attention to detail and ability to foresee and mitigate risks.Confident decision-making abilities and solution-oriented mindset.Perks:Competitive salary package.Drinks and snacks every Friday.Amazing team that supports your success.Opportunities for professional growth and training.Fun-filled team social events.Requirements:Based in the Wellington Region.NZ Citizenship/Permanent Residency or valid work visa.Clean full NZ driver's license (some driving is required).Ready to Level Up?
