Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sales and Service Manager to join our experienced and passionate Papakura management team.

This role offers the potential to move throughout the store, gaining exposure and experience in various retail offerings, including Women's and Men's Fashion, Homeware, and Nursery.

At Farmers, we maintain high presentation and customer service standards. As part of a small team of Department Managers, you will benefit from a wider support network both in-store and regionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive department sales and take ownership of the team's sales performance.
  2. Manage, coach, develop, and motivate the team to exceed sales budgets.
  3. Liaise with Visual Merchandising to ensure timely setup of visual elements.
  4. Drive a customer-centric culture across departments by ensuring exceptional customer service.
  5. Implement and communicate promotional plans for upcoming events.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
  1. 2+ years' experience in a similar position or as a Department Manager in a medium to large store.
  2. Strong sales coaching competence with proven ability to improve sales through coaching.
  3. Excellent team management experience with the ability to motivate and coach a team for improved sales results.

This is a permanent full-time role with weekend work and flexibility required for early starts and late nights as part of the management roster.
