About the role:

Our client is a reputable and well-established New Zealand-owned company seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee workflow and material management at one of their local sites. In this critical role, you will work closely with the Fabrication Team Leader to plan and execute production schedules, ensuring all projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet deadlines and optimise resources.
  • Coordinate with project managers, design, and procurement teams to align production with project requirements.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate production staff and supervisors.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and identify training and development needs.
  • Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring smooth workflows with minimal delays.
  • Manage inventory and materials, ensuring availability to meet production demands.

  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Honest and reliable
  • Strong organisational skills and time management
  • Proven experience in production management (fabrication) and inventory management.
  • Experience in managing a team
