Head of Commercial Analysis - MerchandiseLead a team of commercial analysts and showcase your strong financial and analytical background to influence commercial decision making at a senior level.About the roleAs our Merchandise division's new Head of Commercial Analysis, you will lead a high-performing team of Commercial Analysts who provide quality financial analysis and insight to support our wider merchandising function. You'll be in your element coaching, developing and engaging with your team, and building complex financial modelling.Reporting to the Head of Merchandise – Commercial, you'll play a key role in providing analysis, support and recommendations to aid our planning and commercial decision making.You and your team will:Challenge assumptions and bring financial perspectives and disciplines into all levels of decision making.Prepare and support commercial reviews of performance, reporting, templates, and management reporting to inform and assist with commercial conversations.Support for projects and process improvement across the Merchandise – Commercial team and the wider divisions.About youYou may bring experience from your commercial finance background, but what we're really looking for is someone with strong financial and analytical skills who can translate that can model data into valuable insights.Ideally, you'll be:A Chartered Accountant or equivalent, with a solid understanding of financial principles and business strategy.A proven leader with the capability to lead, inspire and motivate a high-performing team of accountants.Experienced in commercial and business partnering roles, backed up by a tertiary qualification.Known for your strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have a talent for turning data into insights.Able to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the business, and you'll have no trouble establishing strong and effective business relationships.What we offerOur approach to flexible working is based on trusting and empowering our people to manage their time and deliver results while balancing the needs of their personal lives.We're committed to equitable outcomes, and we offer additional paid parental leave, free period products and financial health checks to name a few.We support your wellbeing with Southern Cross health insurance for you and your family after a qualifying period, discounts at local gyms, access to online wellbeing tools, and a prayer and privacy room onsite.You can access Enhanced leave; Lifestyle leave and sick leave from day one of joining the Foodies team.We offer continuous learning and professional growth, as well as access to our extensive online training library and endless opportunities.We're proud of our supportive team environment, and our positive and friendly culture that's made fun by Furry Friend Fridays and monthly social eventsOur Papanui based office has free carparking and an in-house café.How to ApplyReady to take on the challenge?
