This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager (RFM). The AFM is dedicated to creating and maintaining sacred spaces where Church members can worship, learn, and connect. The AFM plays a crucial role in ensuring that the buildings serve their purpose effectively and that the facilities reflect reverence and dignity in the community. Responsibilities: Annual Planning: Assist in preparing and implementing the operations and maintenance annual plan Renovation Projects: Assist the Facilities Manager in scoping building renovation projects Compliance: Regularly inspect facilities to ensure compliance with approved standards Resource Management: Work with staff, contractors, and vendors to execute the annual plan effectively Contractor Coordination: Assist to secure contractors and vendors, ensuring work meets established specifications Relationship Building: Maintain effective relationships with customers, employees, vendors, and contractors Requirements: Associate or Bachelor's (preferred) degree in Facilities or Construction (or equivalent) Three years of related work experience Knowledge of facility and property management, construction procedures, business practices, safety, and fire codes Front-line management skills in a multi-disciplinary work environment Ability to communicate effectively and professionally (oral and written) with employees, priesthood leaders and other customers, contractors, and vendors Currently hold (and continue to hold) a valid driver's license Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new applications Experience working in a professional environment Has high integrity #J-18808-Ljbffr
