Job Description Location: Nelson - Office Based
Salary: DOE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours
Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing month end process including update group schedules.
Assisting with preparing STATS accounts and working with Auditors.
Drafting and processing month-end journals as well as management of defined balance sheet reconciliations.
Managing daily Bank reconciliation.
Payroll reporting and reconciliation.
Producing and reconciling quarterly VAT returns.
Produce and post month end journals including for internal and external recharges.
Supporting the Finance Manager to complete deliverables for the year end statutory accounts and audit, ensuring that records are correct and complete.
Qualifications Qualified ACCA/CIMA.
Experience with Sage200 and COGNOS desirable, but not essential.
Advanced MS Excel skills to a level enabling effective data analysis.
Good communication skills, able to work effectively with both Finance and Non-Finance colleagues.
A high energy level with creative problem-solving abilities.
Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
At all times demonstrate confidentiality, conscientiousness, and trustworthiness.
