As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in providing financial guidance and analysis to senior leaders within a dedicated business portfolio. You will contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making to ensure optimal performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic financial advisor to leadership teams, supporting key business initiatives.
  • Deliver accurate and forward-thinking financial insights to drive decision-making.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance collaboration and financial awareness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

To be successful:

  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, business partnering, or management accounting within a government agency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • A proactive, strategic mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence decisions.
