We are looking for an experienced and talented finance professional to join our tight-knit, high-performing Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights and guidance to the leadership of our Artistry and Production functions. Your work will help align investments with the business strategies set by our Senior Leadership Team and Board, driving informed decision-making and strategic growth.

**What you'll do**:

- Be a trusted advisor for the leadership teams across Wētā FX’s Artistry and Production functions
- Create, refine and own financial models to support show forecasting across hubs and financial years
- Lead the ongoing reforecast of gross margin and tracking against the approved Business Plan
- Lead project costing, benefits analysis and tracking for roadmap initiatives that support crew or technology efficiencies across artistry, production and technology & research
- Provide monthly reporting to budget owners outlining insights into performance and highlighting relevant issues or trends to drive commercial outcomes
- Provide investment model analysis for new projects including investments, capex and business cases and support the development of business case and strategy documentation
- Support the design, testing and embedding of FP&A processes for the budget and planning module implementation as part of Wētā's new ERP system
- Support the company wide planning process and delivery of group and board reporting and papers

**What you'll bring**:

- Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) qualification
- Proven experience within professional services or relevant industry
- An innovative mindset, with a knack for problem solving and finding new ways of doing things
- Advanced skills in Excel and experience in building and reviewing financial models
- Experience in business intelligence tools (Tableau / Power BI) is preferred but not essential
- Experience in process improvement and developing new reports, systems, tools and processes
- Experience leading or making significant contributions to finance projects
