The Bottle O-Glenfield is a retail liquor store in Glenfield, Auckland. We are looking for an experienced manager to manage our business and further our business growth.
The manager must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays. The position is Permanent, with at least 30 hours of work per week, shifting from Monday to Sunday, within the business hours.
We prefer the candidate:

Must have at least 2 years working experience at liquor stores in New Zealand
Must hold a Manager’s Certificate for at least 3 years;
Must be well educated with excellent academic knowledge in business and an equivalent to New Zealand diploma qualification is essential.
Marketing major is strongly recommended, excellent sales and marketing skills to promote sales.
Excellent knowledge in wine, whiskey, rum, gin, vodka, brandy, tequila and Martini, etc.
Excellent research skills to collect the marketing information.
Excellent analytical skills to evaluate business information for sales strategy.
Passion on works and capable to achieve the sales goal.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and clients.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Excellent knowledge and skills in operating POS system.
Ability to work without supervision.

Duties and responsibilities:

To undertake the overall managerial duties for store operation, to monitor the expenditure, promote the sales and maximize the profit.
Perform the operation budgeting for the store, to ensure the sales and profits goals are achieved.
Determine the retail price, carries out the sales and promotion activities, recommend the promotion plan and follow up the promotion activities to achieve the sales target,
Responsible for the management of staff, including selection, training, performance assessment, supervising the staff to provide the quality services to customers.
Makes the purchase decision, responsible for the stock management, control the stock level of the store;
To ensure the business operation are maintained to business standards on the day to day running.
To ensure store is operated at the standards required by both the business and the government Regulations.
Determine the service standards for the store, ensure customer satisfaction is met with the services, and resolve all customer complaints in a manner that enhances the reputation of business.
Any other duties reasonably arranged by the employer.
