**Mō tēnei mahi (About this job)**

In this role, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for the national management and support of our Mātauranga Māori programmes delivered in the takiwā.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Provide on-going, needs based support to Kaimahi Ako and all relevant stakeholders;
- Ensuring compliance with programme approval and accreditation;
- Providing and supporting programme training sessions;
- Support the delivery of programme marau as required;
- Reporting and monitoring of programme resources

**Mōu (About you)**

Are you currently engaged in Mātauranga Māori or indigenous knowledge fields, and looking to take the next step in sharing your knowledge of programme quality assurance within our Mātauranga Māori whare? If so, this could be the role for you.

We are looking for someone who is currently engaged in rangahau or has rangahau experience, is competent in Te Reo Māori and holds at least 5 years’ teaching experience. You will be someone who has previous experience in curriculum management in a tertiary education environment, and experience in assessment and moderation processes.

You will have a Masters’ Degree in a field related to Mātauranga Māori (or similar), or be committed to obtaining one within 5 years’. At a minimum, you will hold a Bachelor Degree qualification in a relevant field. An adult teaching qualification is preferred.

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.
