- We are seeking strong and resilient Enrolled Nurses to join one of our Puawai inpatient teams and another to join our ward 34 inpatient team. We are looking for someone who can support our taangata whaiora and their whaanau during their stay in these wards.
- Maaori are significantly represented across our services, which is why we are moving towards becoming a ‘culturally led, clinically underpinned’ team. Delivering excellent care in a culturally responsive manner, to support the best outcomes for Maaori is fundamental to our mahi.

**Moo too maatou roopuu | About our team**
- Puna Maatai is our acute forensic ward and supports some of our most vulnerable and unwell taangata whaiora, who can often present with significant risk and complex presentations. Taangata whaiora come to Puna Maatai either via the criminal justice system or Te Ara Poutama (Corrections).
- Ward 34 is a 20 bedded unit within the Henry Rongomau Bennett centre that provides 24 hour care to tangata whaiora experiencing acute mental illness.
- It’s the perfect time to join our team. We have a brand new facility being built which will be ready for occupancy in 2025; you will get to work in a state of the art purpose built facility, where we aim to be delivering a service which is culturally led and clinically underpinned.
- Both teams are multi-disciplinary and consist of nurses, mental health assistants, doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants and activities facilitators.
