The Workplace Services group at the Department of Internal Affairs is looking for a permanent Planning and Performance Advisor to provide analysis, reporting and strategic advice to the Workplace Services Leadership Team.
This role provides analysis and transparent reporting on the Workplace Services Groups' service, project and programme performance. Using the tools used to capture and analyse performance and prepare regular reports for the Workplace Services Group. The Advisor works closing with the wider Workplace Services group managing our accountability processes, including Official Information Act requests and Parliamentary Questions.

**You'll contribute to the group by**:

- Producing clear and consistent advice in a timely manner
- Supporting leaders to drive performance through data analytics
- Interpersonal skills, you will be a team player and a connector
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

**You'll bring with you**:

- A passion for data and creating reports using a variety of tools including advanced Excel data manipulation skills
- High level of comfort providing sound evidence-based advice to leaders and key stakeholders
- An understanding of the machinery of government and associated reporting including the Official Information Act is preferred
- Effective communication skills
