We are on the hunt for a Human Resource Administrator who will be respionsible in delivering an excellent staff experience while supporting employee relations and departmental goals.
**What will I be doing?**
As a Human Resource Administrator, you are responsible for managing HR administration responsibilities to deliver an excellent staff experience. A Human Resource Administrator will also be required to interface with the HR system and support employee relations. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Manage HR administration such as contracts, letters and personnel files
- Ensure accurate information is fed into the employee database
- Ensure recruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensure that appropriate immigration checks are carried out
- Support the hotel with departmental training requirements including inductions, work experience, careers fairs, and training materials
- Ensure pay reviews/absence monitoring/wage queries are managed in line with company guidelines
- Assist and resolve team member and management queries
- Maintain and update team notice boards and signage as required
- Assist with fortnightly payroll processes
- Administration and co-ordination of our Team Member recognition scheme, service awards, gifts and celebrations
- Be the first point of contact for all Team Members, assisting with enquiries in a proactive and professional manner
- Administrative duties for the General Manager as and when required
**What are we looking for?**
A Human Resource Administrator serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- A passion for people and a desire to learn and grow in Human Resources
- Previous hospitality or HR experience preferred
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management would be advantageous
- Positive and can-do attitude
- Strong organisational and administration skills
- High attention to detail, whilst multi-tasking and delivering work in a timely manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- MUST be eligible to work in New Zealand
