**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Page optimisation, website services, link-building, content production and reporting.
- Be NZME’s champion in the SEO offering and coach and develop capabilities within the relevant parts of the business, and also externally.
- Implement and deliver digital SEO strategy for a broad range of business types, to drive commercial growth.
- Provide actionable solutions and insights to data-driven decisions.
- Analyse digital initiatives and channels to ensure optimal performance of SEO services.
- Maintain excellent technical and industry knowledge and skills, keeping ahead of the curve with the latest trends and software, using automation where possible.
- Create a successful team by ensuring members work cooperatively towards common goals and acknowledging differing contributions.
- Embrace change and constructively challenges the way we operate, with a focus on business improvement and innovation

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Minimum 5 years' experience specialising in SEO. That experience should include:

- Working in an agency, publishing or consulting environment where you’ve had to manage multiple clients for SEO services simultaneously.
- Proven success developing and implementing SEO strategies.
- Proven leadership experience (1-2 years’), directly as a people leader and/or indirectly where you demonstrated leadership within your role.
- Strong commercial acumen, and proven ability to deliver commercial results.
- Data-driven with analytical skills, able to setup reporting and analyse results
- Strong technical skills - along with an ability to pick up and use software to drive automation and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, required for senior internal stakeholders and external clients.
