**Position Title**: Liquor Sales Assistant

**Job brief**

We are looking for 3 Liquor Sales Assistant for a liquor store who sells liquor and serves customers along with stocking shelves and performs general cleaning as needed, and when directed by the supervisor.

To provide courteous customer service dealing with sale of liquor and to know and observe the various state and local regulations regarding the sale of liquor.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist customers with products; suggest products
- Stocks liquor supplies
- Provides courteous customer service
- General cleaning of shelves and other store areas
- Approach customers and sell products.
- Process customer payments and refunds.
- Maintain window displays and signage.
- Resolve customer enquiries and complaints.
- Ensure products are presentable and clean.
- Receive deliveries and conduct stock cheques
- Completes assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner
- Operates cash register, scanner and related equipment.
- Maintains store appearance: dusts bottles and shelves regularly, sweeps and/or vacuums floors, and cleans windows as directed.
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- 6 months experience working in retail environment or customer service role
- Should have an idea of Laws, rules and regulations applicable to liquor control and sales & liquor store operations
- Be able to work independently
- Frequent physical lifting capability
- Should possess skills like decision making, social skills/verbal interactions, memorising, reading, writing, maths/counting currency.
- Ability to follow policies with consistency and uniformity.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (beyond normal work hours) to include Nights, weekends & holidays

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
