Fonterra Oceania is seeking an experienced Logistics Asset Manager to join our team at Takanini. Our logistics operations are integral to delivering the dairy products and ingredients loved by millions worldwide. This role plays a pivotal part in managing the logistics assets across Oceania New Zealand, including Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Heavy Vehicle fleets (including AI cameras), and IS equipment. If you have a strong background in asset management, logistics, and business improvement, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to Fonterra’s success.

**About the opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga**

As the Logistics Asset Manager, you’ll be the centralised point of contact for asset management within Oceania New Zealand Logistics. Your role will involve developing and maintaining strategies for asset management, ensuring compliance with Fonterra standards, and driving continuous improvement in asset performance. Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and managing a capital replacement plan aligned with Fonterra’s policies and standards.
- Providing comprehensive reporting on asset management criteria to ensure effective tracking and projections.
- Collaborating with business areas to align on asset standards and replacement programs.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers to optimise asset performance.
- Supporting cost centres with planning and execution of R&M and PM plans to improve asset lifespans.
- Ensuring software and hardware solutions align with policy and are effectively managed.

**About you | Mōu**

You’ll bring proven expertise in logistics asset management, coupled with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Your ability to manage complex projects and relationships will be key to your success. To be considered for this role, you’ll have:

- A tertiary qualification in Operations, Business Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Continuous improvement experience (3+ years) and systems process knowledge within food or pharmaceuticals (2+ years).
- Strong distribution/warehousing knowledge and a track record of driving operational efficiencies.
- Competence in using software tools for asset management and reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and suppliers.
