About the Role

The Auckland System Management Alliance is seeking an Infrastructure Asset Manager to join their team. This exciting new opportunity will involve the management of asset management systems, managing and maintaining asset data and information, reporting on data quality and identifying any enhancement or development opportunities to the systems that support ASM's commitment towards asset management outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and maintaining AWM Database asset tables per AMDS standards and NZTA protocols, ensuring timely updates and reports.
  • Assisting Asset Managers with Inventory Validation Reports and coordinating data collection with delivery teams.
  • Enhancing AWM for data quality and stability; liaising with suppliers like Think Project for issue resolution.
  • Collaborating with NZTA to develop best practices and representing the alliance at industry meetings.
  • Supporting asset managers in data maintenance, extraction, analysis, and monthly NZTA reporting.
  • Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards with the Technology team.
  • Providing training and support for AWM/RAMM systems and developing training materials.

About You:

We are looking for a skilled professional with the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

  • Degree in IT, engineering, transportation, or construction.
  • IT certifications or extensive system development and integration experience.
  • 5+ years with RAMM / AWM Database, transport and maintenance sector experience.
  • Proficient in analytical and data transformation tools, work order management, and optimisation data.
  • Understanding of asset lifecycle management principles; able to manage a team.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder skills; network building across divisions.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively, challenging data structures and standards.
  • Expertise in handling complex data; delivering quality reporting to support decision-making.
