**The opportunity**

Our New Zealand Buildings Team are growing rapidly and have a steady backlog of work into the future. We are looking for an experienced Revit MEP Designer to join our New Zealand team in Auckland. You will undertake a combination of mechanical, hydraulics, and fire protection systems design on complex engineering projects. The role entails providing innovation input on advancing system efficiencies and technical support for Building Services projects and MEP related systems. We are busy working on the development and future of New Zealand, and we want you to be part of that future.

Outline of day to day tasks:

- Work directly with BIM Leads and advance community of practice initiatives for enhancement of the discipline.
- Train and develop to grow into the role of a MEP BIM Lead for New Zealand-based projects.
- Leverage your technical background of building mechanical systems and expand your skills of investigation and analysis supporting the engineering team.
- Be a Leader in multi-discipline coordination of MEP designs, collaborate with design team to develop design solutions and associated documentation from concept through to detailed design.
- Undertake building services calculations as required to review, select, and confirm basis of design solutions; develop skills using company software platforms such as IESVE, Camel Plus, H2X, and other proprietary manufacturer software.
- Assist team in preparing building mechanical designs, drawings, specifications, Client presentations and reports, and gather information to support design decisions.
- Assist in basic interpretation and verify compliance with New Zealand Building Code and other applicable regulations, engineering standards, and best practices.

**Qualifications**

**About You**
- Tertiary Qualified in a relevant technical qualification
- Good technical knowledge of building mechanical engineering (HVAC, hydraulic, fire protection design).
- High proficiency in Revit MEP on buildings projects (preferably 3 years) ideally in a consultancy setting
- Experience in Plant 3D would be an advantage
- Detail Orientated
- Proactive and have excellent communication.
- Curious in new ways of doing things
- Innovative in advancing our standards and use of technology
- Keen to be part of our growing team
