**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

We are on the hunt for an exceptional Junior Computer Vision Analyst to join our team You will be responsible to deliver Computer Vision Builds using the Computer Vision tools and systems at a basic level. This includes any automation of processes, business logic and operations to achieve these outcomes in ITS space.

Computer Vision Builds are to meet desired outcomes for the transport network and assets at Auckland Transport (AT), Auckland Council, NZ Transport Agency and NZ Police. This work helps to create easier and safer journeys for Aucklanders and to shape the future of Auckland city. In this role you'll collaborate and work within a fully cross-functional team in a complete Agile environment to ensure best practices are met, and highest possible outcomes are delivered.

You will work in conjunction with other AT teams to ensure Computer Vision solutions are seamlessly compatible with both up-stream and down-stream systems that integrate with our Smart City Intelligent Operations work. As a junior role in this team, you will be involved in Computer Vision Builds projects from end to end, and utilize the Computer Vision Tool at a basic level. You will be guided by an intermediate or a senior member of the team.

**Ko koe tēnei | About you**
- Degree in Computer Vision, Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience in Computer Vision related areas
- Above-average programming skills in Python, C/C++, JavaScript, etc
- Hands on capabilities with Open-Source Computer Vision libraries such as OpenCV, OpenAI, OpenVINO, Darknet/YOLO, etc and Open-Source AI platforms such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, etc.
- Experience with SQL query, Data Warehouse, Data Modelling and ETL, Business Intelligence and PowerBI will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile methods of software development will be an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
