Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a mental health professional with a passion for innovation and delivering services differently to join us in further development of the Central North Sector team - providing community based services for individuals that require specialist mental health support.

With service users/tangata whaiora based both locally and rurally, this role provides an exciting opportunity to work closely with the communities in which people live and support better outcomes. The Central North team area covers the Northern half of urban Hamilton and extends out to Huntly, Te Kauwhata and Morrinsville areas. The multidisciplinary team is a strong, collaborative team that is based in Hamilton, working Monday to Friday.

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

a current annual practicing certificate enabling working in the mental health sector

*
a current full driver's license

*
Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi

*
the ability to be service user/tangata whaiora focussed, innovative and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team as well as autonomously

*
well-developed time management skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritise personal and team task

*
the ability to coordinate care and provide therapeutic interventions

*
experience within the mental health field
