**Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity**

We are currently looking for a Food Services Supervisor to join the supervisory team at Kenepuru Hospital and Wellington Hospital.

This is a full-time position primarily based at Kenepuru Hospital on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and based at Wellington Hospital on Monday with Saturday and Sunday off. The hours of work will be a mixture of early and late supervisor shifts: 5:30am to 2pm & 10am to 7pm.

Sound knowledge of dietary requirements would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

The successful person must have:

- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- The ability to lead a team.
- A current food handler’s certificate (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven time management
- Have exceptional attention to detail.
- Reliability and a great team player
- Take pride in your work.
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment
- A friendly outgoing personality
- Understanding of OH&S and food safety practices; be safety focused
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work as part of a wonderful team.
- Be available at short notice.
