As a Tour Leader with Intrepid you could be guiding a bike tour along the Otago Rail Trail one day or visiting exclusive wineries on Waiheke the next. As a Tour Leader every day you create unforgettable moments for our travellers (and yourself), all while getting paid to do so

**If that speaks to you, what about the role itself? As a Tour Leader with us you will**:

- Be the face of Intrepid and Haka, providing exceptional customer service
- Deliver travel advice as you transport your customers from A to B
- Execute tours to a budget, follow an itinerary and do some admin along the way
- Ensure the safety and well-being of your travellers, assisting with any difficult situations that may arise
- Be willing to obtain a Current First Aid Certificate and a Class 2 Driver’s License with P Endorsement.

**Some of the good stuff we provide includes**:

- Every day will be different, from camping to premium hotel stays, hiking & fine dining, you'll get to experience it all with your travellers.
- We’ll pay for your travel to and from where the tour ends or starts
- While on the road meals and accommodation is provided (You generally stay where the guests are staying, such hotels, camping, homestays, cabins etc)
- Comprehensive tour leader training and ongoing access to e-learning platforms
- Generous global travel discounts for you, plus family and friends

**What you need to know**:

- You'll need at least 2+ years of Customer Service or some Tour Leading experience.
- These roles are casual, paying a daily rate of $300-$400 + Meals/Meal allowances
- Our peak seasons is Oct - Apr, so great availability during those months is important
- Interviews start in May, and paid training begins in late July
