**What will you be doing?**

We can't do that without the right people and the role of the Internal Communications team is to focus on our people, making sure that they feel informed and heard throughout the company.

We're looking for an energetic and creative self-starter with some communications experience to deliver events and internal communications at Tower.

You're here to share our Tower news in New Zealand and the Pacific. You will be a savvy self-starter who can generate high quality content to tell our story and inspire our people and community. Your efforts will support our culture and enhance Tower's corporate reputation - as both a great place to work and/or be a customer of. You'll also get the chance to contribute to our external communications agenda, helping with media monitoring and some media releases.
- Work at the direction of the Senior Communications Manager to tell stories and create positive experiences for our people through multiple channels, including on our intranet and internal social media channels and via a range of staff events.
- Be the first port of call for our communications channels including intranet, Workplace by Facebook, and weekly e-newsletters
- Manage internal and external events and activations
- Support Tower's ESG and sustainability activities
- Manage all reporting of internal and external communications activities.

**To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following**:

- A great writer with a passion for people and the ability to tell their stories in an engaging way, with high impact, across a range of topics and channels - adjusting your writing style to each topic and channel
- An attention to detail alongside a hunger and ability to create high quality communications and multi-media content
- Ability to write and manage communications plans in support of different initiatives
- Have a flexible mindset and attitude to dealing with a fast-paced environment with lots of change happening
- Be great at managing your own time and meeting weekly deadlines for content delivery
- A love of collaborating with all types of people from across our business, including senior leaders, across Auckland, Rotorua, Christchurch and the Pacific
- A drive to get things done and never afraid to fail fast, try again and find a new way to do things
- Loads of curiosity You're known for asking why and are excited about being part of a high performance communications team.
