Mō te Tūranga - About the role
A 5-month fixed-term or secondment is available in the Government Legal Network (GLN) Programmes Team as a Kairuruku Hōtaka/GLN Programme Coordinator. The person in this role would assist the existing Kairuruku Hōtaka/GLN Programme Coordinator and wider team to coordinate and deliver a range of programmes designed to support an all of government approach to legal services.
This is a great opportunity to use your relationship management, communication and organisational skills to contribute to an important Kaupapa.
The Kairuruku Hōtaka/GLN Programme Coordinator will (among other things):

- Assist the existing Kairuruku Hōtaka/ GLN Programme Coordinator in liaising with Practice Area and Practice Group Convenors to establish relationships and facilitate events for the GLN
- Assist with the promotion and delivery of the GLN Summer Clerk and GLN Graduate Programmes
- Create and deliver GLN events and seminars
- Establish relationships across the GLN and more broadly within government agencies, universities, other internship programmes and other agencies and institutions to deliver the work programme and add to the work programme
- Liaise with people in the GLN participating in the GLN Buddy Programme
- Provide content for the monthly GLN newsletter
- Help to organise the GLN Conference scheduled for March 2024
- Facilitate the delivery of resources that are currently being developed by the System Advice team
- Facilitate the delivery of material and resources produced by the GLN Development Team.

Remuneration and benefits
The starting salary range for this role is $69,575 to $82,745 and will be based on skills and experience.
You will also receive opportunities for development and growth across Crown Law.
To be considered for a position at Crown Law you must have a legal right to live and work in New Zealand and are required to complete a Ministry of Justice Criminal Records check.
