We’re pushing into new markets and shopper missions and have the right geographic spread across the North Island to implement good strategic infrastructure with industry leading partners.

**About the Role**

Reporting to our GM of Membership and Property, you’ll be a strategic senior leader partnering with stores to develop and maintain market position strategies for 4 Square, positioning the brand at the forefront of the convenience supermarket sector retailing. You’ll drive innovation, growth and operational excellence through both the team and wider membership to deliver world class shopping experiences for our customers.

To do this, you’ll:

- Foster an environment that encourages cross functional collaboration across the wider Foodstuffs North Island and owner-operators and their teams.
- Ensure 4 Square owner operators are actively managed and supported through their retailing life cycle
- Be responsive and enable change to evolving market conditions, based on customer insights and need-states
- Ensure our member engagement channels are fit for purpose and delivering value to owner operators
- Lead and develop a direct team across Business Partnering, Regional Marketing and Fresh leadership

**About you**

As a true retailer, you’ll come from a retail background in senior leaderships roles, ideally in supermarkets or large retail operations enabling you to lead innovative initiatives within a dynamic retail environment. Experience leading large teams is required to motivate, inspire and coach a diverse team. You’ll also have proven ability to execute strategic plans that drive growth and profitability.

Equipped with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll seamlessly build robust relationships with the team and key stakeholders. A data driven mindset will enable you to interpret market trends and customer behaviour.
