**About the role**

As the Head of Fresh, you’ll play a key part of our Retail Leadership team, leading our Fresh specialists across Butchery, Deli, Bakery, Seafood and Produce to ensure that our stores have the best Fresh offering available to our customers.

Owning the strategic direction for Fresh, this role has a massive impact on the customer experience in all our stores, through influencing and coaching store owners and department managers on best practice around fresh foods, to working with property on the newest store innovations from around the world.

**About you**

We are looking for someone with a real passion for fresh food and someone who understands the complexity that comes with it. You won’t be afraid to talk to any challenges, articulate a situation and present a solution. Having held senior roles in an operational capacity, you’ll have laser sharp attention to detail and be comfortable building robust relationships and communicating at all levels from executives and board members to owners and their teams in store.

You’ll have a proven track record of success leading projects across complex environments and be an inspirational people leader who goes the extra mile to coach, motivate, develop and support a high performing team.
