We are continuing to build our Digital team and due to this growth are pleased to be able to welcome an additional Senior Site Reliability Engineer / Kaipūhanga Horopū Papahoko Mātāmua to the Z whanau.
Our services need to be reliable, remain operational as well as being continuously improved - as a natural problem solver you will bring solutions focus along with strong technical skills. This role has a broad scope, it impacts our staff, our sites and our customers and will see you work across the business to understand priorities and needs.
It is a great opportunity to join Z in a senior role that bridges the gap between development, operations and infrastructure while also collaborating with our business to understand the needs and drivers and turning this into action.
**You will have the opportunity to**
- Design and implement monitoring and alerting for services
- Identify areas for continuous improvement or automation
- Provide technical input to projects on risks, approach and impacts to our environments
- Help define features based on user stories
- Maintain and expand our CI/CD pipeline through automation and scripting
- Work with developers to build and implement fixes
- Collaborate with squad to define SLI’s and SLO’s
- Understand and implement error budgets for systems

**Qualifications**

**What you’ll bring to Z**
- 3+ years in a relevant environment and role
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Service
- Exposure to cloud environments
- Experience working with integration technologies
- Familiarity with analysing and debugging code
- Great communication skills and a love of solving problems

The base salary range for this role is $104,210 to $122,600 per annum, plus 15% bonus based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
