**About the role**
**About you**
Success in this role will hinge on your knowledge of, and experience in, contestable research funding locally and internationally. This knowledge has enabled you to build strong, credible relationships with key people and funders in this space, and you’ll not only be well networked but well regarded also. You’ll bring to this position the strategic capability to develop and implement a research funding roadmap that covers immediate needs and identifies new opportunities, along with the requisite experience in monitoring and managing budgets, compliance and outcomes.
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is required.
