**Leading Rehabilitation Provider for Traumatic Brain Injury - Full/Part-Time**

ABI Rehabilitation is the specialist provider of neuro-rehabilitation services. This role is located within the Hamilton Service.

We tailor individual rehabilitation programmes to clients' physical, cognitive, and spiritual needs with a strong focus on interdisciplinary teamwork and whānau involvement.

Our Hamilton Intensive Neuro-Rehabilitation Service is seeking a motivated and passionate experienced senior nurse. The Nursing Services Manager has the responsibility for leading and managing all aspects of the service, ensuring the daily delivery of quality service provision of clinical care by the nursing team in collaboration with our inter-disciplinary team. Your strong operational, experience working within service budgets, site safety, facility management and service delivery will be rewarded with a competitive salary and the chance to lead a great team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage staff (including nurses, rehabilitation assistants, and Allied Health) within the area of responsibility including, education, and training.
- Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to the Nursing team.
- Ensure the nursing team deliver high-quality clinical care, which includes assessment, interventions, and evaluation of client status that is reflective of current evidence-based best practice.
- Work closely with medical staff to coordinate clinical care.
- Use evidence-based practices within the clinical decision-making process.
- Perform development reviews and staff engagement in line with the overall ABI HR program.
- Be responsible for the assessment and development of nursing portfolios, and review of competencies.
- Conduct education and training sessions including policy refreshers relevant to nurses.

**Skills Required**:

- Current Nursing Annual Practicing Certificate
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading a team.
- Sound understanding of rehabilitation principles.
- Demonstrated high standard of clinical care and clinical safety management.
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Demonstrate excellent teaching/facilitation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills allowing effective working relationships with staff, clients (kiritaki), and whānau.
