Are you a senior registered nurse looking for a new challenge and want to take your career to the next level? We have an excellent opportunity for a duty nurse manager to join our team.

The duty nurse manager is responsible for the co-ordination of the Waikato hospital campus, to ensure safe, appropriate and efficient management and utilisation of resources that supports patient care and flow.

Mōu | About you
Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

  • Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a registered nurse with at least 5 years post registration in an acute hospital setting.-
  • A current practising certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand is a mandatory requirement of the role.-
  • Previous experience in a senior nursing and/or patient flow role is highly desirable.-
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, organise and work collaboratively with others.-
  • Agile, proactive and positive in your approach.-
  • Duty Nurse Manager experience preferred.
