**The Opportunity**:
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse in our Acute Services team. Reporting to the Charge Nurse, this role is responsible for providing exceptional post-operative and post-procedural care to our patients with a focus on quality and patient-centred care.

To be successful in this role:

- Minimum of two years’ experience in a cardiology ward/unit and/or PACU.
- Hold a Core Level 6 (Advanced Life Support).
- You will need to demonstrate good pharmacology knowledge, acute pain management and use of adjuncts, and have strong airway management skills;
- You will be able to carry out interpretation of cardiac rhythms;
- You will understand that the key to success lies in our team operating in collaboration with one another and you will have the ability and disposition to enhance cooperation and teamwork;
- You will be known for your clear and professional communication skills to support you liaising with Anaesthetists and Surgeons;
- Outstanding clinical assessment and time management skills, confidence in your practice and the ability to think on your feet;
- You will have an ability to work rostered rotating shifts Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work and on-call availability;
- You must have a current New Zealand Nursing Registration (APC);
