**Te** **kowhiringa | The Opportunity**

This opportunity is based at the canteen at Tiwai Aluminum Smelter. Our mission is to be the best in the business. Our food is fresh, our staff are friendly, and our customers are satisfied. A strong background in food preparation is required. Duties include cash handling, barista, food preparation as well as customer service. A part-time role is available with a minimum of 22 hours and a starting time of 6am

- Have a proven track record of being reliable, honest and work safe

**Nga pukenga matua | Important Skills**

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

- A passion for quality food and customer service
- A current food handler's certificate an advantage
- Previous experience in a cafe environment
- Understanding of OH&S and food safety practices
